Meet Our Veterinerian

 

Dr. Amit Mittal is affiliated with American Medical Veterinary Association (AVMA) and Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA). He graduated from College of Veterinary Sciences, India and have done post graduate Master’s in Veterinary Virology (Veterinary Microbiology) from a very prestigious institute (only first top 5 candidates may get into this Nation-wide program). He graduated from UNMC, Omaha with PhD in (Cancer) Cell Biology, Genetics and Anatomy as research area of interest. He further did postdoctoral fellowships from well-known institutes of North Shore LIJ Health System and further at Boston University. He has published several research articles in reputed journals and has received many national/international awards/honors for his work. While contributing to research field, Dr Mittal also pass the vet board exams and eventually certified to work as Veterinarian as part of the AVMA-ECFVG Program. He has served at various Veterinary hospitals ranging from low-cost vaccine clinics to AAHA-recognized veterinary hospitals. While carrying special interests from preventive medicine to diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases and cancers, he has been serving from past several years at various veterinary hospitals located in Harris and Fort Bend Counties. His aim is to provide quality pet services at affordable prices to neighborhood and adjoining areas. When he is not working, he loves to spend time with family and watching movies.
